Lexile measures provide a child’s numbered reading level/ability, and when using the Lexile Framework which levels books on text complexity, we can “forecast reading comprehension”. Student independent reading levels can be measured using the Renaissance’s computer adaptive test which means the test adjusts as your child responds to each question. If Fountas and Pinnell running records are the assessment your school or district uses, you may use our guided reading levels (GRL) to help you to find Just Right Reads! Accelerated Reader (AR) ATOS Level: Although we have found that a couple levels do not match, they are close enough we will follow Scholastic’s guided reading levels. Guided reading levels (GRL) provided by the Scholastic Book Wizard are said to be equivalent to Fountas and Pinnell levels.
